OUR STORY

Megan Pellerin is the founder of Heels Down Western Riding Program and brings over 13 years of experience in instructing and guiding riders and horses of all ages. Her passion for teaching Western riding has driven her to launch her independent venture, where she imparts her expertise to others. Not only does Megan enjoy spending time with her son, but she also captures precious moments for families through her photography.

Heels Down Western Riding Program was established in 2023. Our mission is to inspire future equestrians to develop confidence and expertise by fostering encouragement, motivation, and a genuine passion for riding.

Meet Bourbon

Bourbon, a 13-year-old Bay Quarter Horse, exhibits remarkable patience with every new rider he encounters, regardless of age. Characterizing his demeanor succinctly, Bourbon can be labeled an "opportunist," significantly contributing to his excellence as a lesson horse. By embodying the qualities of a patient opportunist, Bourbon presents aspiring equestrians with fitting challenges that effectively enhance their riding abilities. He is a gentle giant, delighting in affectionate embraces and relishing carrots.
